About ILUX
ILUX Facilities Services is a UK-wide facilities partner for multi-site businesses, with regional bases and engineers placed where our clients' sites are. One contract, one account manager, live reporting.
Where we started
ILUX began as a lighting contractor, ILUX Lighting, founded in 2017 to design and install commercial lighting for retail, hospitality and commercial clients.
ILUX Facilities Services grew from that: planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, compliance, energy and telecoms built out alongside the lighting and fit-out work, so a multi-site client can put an entire estate on one contract. Lighting is still part of what we do — one of seven services now, not the whole business.
How we work
Engineers are placed by region rather than sent from one depot, which is what lets us stand behind a response time and a certificate. Every job, whichever trade, is reported through the same client portal.

Where we're going
We're UK-wide today, built out region by region as clients bring us new sites — more than 2,000 of them since 2017. The model doesn't change as the estate grows — the survey, the plan and the reporting scale the same way whether it's ten sites or two hundred.

Is ILUX still a lighting company?
Lighting is where we started and it's still one of our seven services, covering design, retrofits and installation. Most clients now come to us for the wider facilities contract, with lighting as one part of it.

An engineer placed in your region, with the job reported through your client portal from logged to fixed.
