Business energy contracts
Gas and electricity procurement for multi-site estates: aligned end dates, a proper market tender, and bill validation between renewals so nothing drifts back onto a bad rate.

Why it matters
Across a multi-site estate, contracts get signed at different times by different people with different suppliers, so a lapsed one can fall onto a deemed or out-of-contract rate for months before anyone notices.
ILUX consolidates every supply point onto a shared view, brings contract end dates onto an aligned cycle as each comes up for renewal, and tenders the whole group to the market at once.
What's included
- A full audit of current suppliers, rates and contract end dates across every site
- Consolidation of supply points onto an aligned renewal cycle over time
- A market tender for gas and electricity, run on your behalf
- A choice between fixed-price contracts and flexible purchasing, explained in plain terms
- Contracts signed in good time so no supply point falls onto an out-of-contract or deemed rate
- Ongoing bill validation, checking invoiced consumption and rates against the contract
Fixed contracts lock a rate for the term, suiting businesses that want budget certainty. Flexible contracts let you buy in tranches as the market moves. Neither suits every estate — we set out the trade-offs before you choose.
The value is in the estate, not the meter.
Aligning every site's contract end date onto a shared cycle is what makes a market tender worth running — one exercise instead of forty separate renewals throughout the year.
Bill validation, not just procurement
A signed contract isn't the end of the job — meter reads get estimated and rates get misapplied more often than expected. We check invoices against the contract on an ongoing basis and query anything that doesn't match.
How it fits a multi-site contract
Energy procurement usually sits alongside energy monitoring and, where it's relevant, ESOS compliance, so the same account manager who tenders your contracts is also watching consumption between renewals.
Common questions.
What happens if a contract has already lapsed at one of our sites?
That site is likely on a deemed or out-of-contract rate, which we can usually move quickly once we have the meter details. It goes to the top of the review rather than waiting for the rest of the estate.
Do our contract end dates all need to line up before you can help?
No. We bring each site onto an aligned cycle as its existing contract comes up for renewal, so there's no gap in supply and no cost to exit early just to line dates up.
Will you tell us which supplier to choose?
We tender the whole market and set out the offers with the trade-offs explained. The decision on fixed versus flexible, and which supplier, is yours — we're not tied to a fixed panel.
Do you check our bills once the contract is signed?
Yes, on an ongoing basis. That's part of the service, not a separate add-on — see energy monitoring.
One estate, one contract cycle.
Send us your current bills and contract end dates and we'll show you what an aligned tender looks like.
