Lighting failures
Shop-floor lighting out, failed drivers and emergency fittings not lit, attended against a response time set by what's affected.

Typical faults we attend
- Shop-floor or warehouse lighting out
- Failed LED drivers or flickering fittings
- Emergency lighting fittings not lit on test
- External and car park lighting out
- Illuminated signage or shopfront lighting failed
- Exposed wiring or damaged fittings needing to be made safe
How a call-out runs
You log the fault with what's out and where, we assign a priority based on the area affected, and an engineer is dispatched against the response time in your contract. Emergency lighting faults are treated as urgent, since they sit inside your fire safety obligations. Every visit closes with a completion report in your client portal. See response times & coverage for how priorities are set.
Emergency lighting failures are usually caught on test first.
Scheduled testing finds failing batteries and fittings before they fail when they're actually needed.
For a wider lighting upgrade, rather than a repeat fault, our LED retrofit team can also take a look.
Common questions.
Is an emergency light not working always urgent?
Yes, it's treated as a priority fault given the fire safety implications. See response times & coverage for how each level is defined.
What if it's a whole circuit rather than one fitting?
Log it the same way. The engineer will trace the fault back to the circuit or driver rather than just swapping fittings one at a time.
Do you carry common fittings and lamps on the van?
Engineers carry a stock of common fittings, drivers and lamps, so most faults are fixed on the first visit rather than needing a return trip.

Log the fault and we'll confirm the priority and the engineer straight away.
