Who we are

This website is operated by ILUX Services Ltd, trading as ILUX Facilities Services, of Holbrook Rise, Sheffield, S20 3FG ("ILUX", "we", "us"). What we collect

When you use the contact forms on this site, we collect the information you submit: typically your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. Our web server also logs standard technical data for every visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, for security and performance purposes.

Why we collect it

We use this data to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, deliver services under a contract, and maintain the security and performance of this website. We do not use website enquiry data for marketing unless you separately agree to that.

Our lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to general enquiries and operate this website securely, and on the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) where an enquiry relates to a quote or an existing service agreement. Where we ever process data on the basis of consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, and is deleted when no longer needed. Data relating to an active service contract is kept for the duration of the contract and for the period required afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.

Who we share it with

We share personal data with the technical providers who host this website and process our contact forms, solely to operate the site and handle enquiries. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with any other organisation except where required by law.

These providers act as processors on our instructions, under contract terms that require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful basis to keep
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Cookies

This website uses cookies essential to its operation, such as those needed to submit a contact form, and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies that record anonymised information about your visit — the pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate location and the type of device and browser you use. We use this to improve the site, not to identify you. The data is processed by Google LLC under its privacy policy; IP addresses are anonymised and we have not enabled advertising features. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Children

This website and its services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
