Access control and door entry systems sit at the point where security and fire safety meet: a door that's locked against intruders still has to release for escape when the fire alarm activates. Regular servicing keeps both sides working, and where a fire door is involved, keeps it compatible with the building's BS 8214 fire door requirements.

Door entry servicing usually runs alongside intruder alarm and roller shutter visits, so one engineer covers the site's access points in a single trip, with faults between visits handled through the normal call-out route.

Do you cover both intercom and card access systems?
Yes, and the systems that combine the two. The visit covers whatever's installed at the door, from a simple buzzer entry to a full access-controlled system.
How is fire escape release checked?
We test that the door releases correctly on fire alarm activation and on loss of power, since a door entry system must never block an escape route.
Can you manage our access lists as well?
Reviewing who's on the list is part of the visit. Day-to-day additions and removals can be handled through your client portal between visits.
