Multi-site connectivity

One connectivity contract across every store or site, with the right line type at each location and 4G/5G backup so a till doesn't go offline when a circuit drops.

Why it matters

Not every site needs the same connection. A small store might run fine on business broadband; a distribution hub or head office needs a leased line with a guaranteed SLA. Managing that mix site by site, with a different supplier and support number for each, is where connectivity problems turn into till and card payment problems.

ILUX puts every site on one contract, matches the line type to what the site actually needs, and gives you one number to call when something drops.

What's included

  • Connectivity assessed per site and matched to broadband or leased line as the need dictates
  • 4G/5G backup connections for sites where downtime affects tills or card payments
  • Single point of support for faults, whichever site or line type is affected
  • Coordination with new store or site openings so connectivity is live before day one
  • Visibility of every site's connection type, speed and contract term in one place
  • Rollout planning for programmes opening or refitting several sites a year

PCI compliance and till uptime depend on a stable connection at every site, not just the largest ones, so backup connectivity is scoped in wherever card payments are taken.

Broadband

Most sites are better suited to business broadband than a leased line.

See the connection options available by site and where a leased line is actually worth the extra cost.

Rollout coordination

For a store opening or refit programme, connectivity is ordered alongside the fit out rather than after it, so lead times don't push the opening date back. See multi-trade coordination for how telecoms fits into the wider fit-out programme.

Common questions.

Do all our sites need to be on the same line type?

No. Each site is assessed on its own and matched to broadband, a leased line or both, all held under the one contract.

What happens if a connection drops at a store?

Sites with backup connectivity fail over to 4G/5G automatically, and any fault goes through the single support line rather than a per-site supplier.

Can you connect a new store before it opens?

Yes, that's the usual model — connectivity is ordered against the fit-out programme so it's live ahead of opening day.

Do you handle phone systems as well as connectivity?

Yes, see VoIP and hosted phone systems for call routing across sites on the same contract.

One connectivity contract, every site.
