LED retrofits and upgrades

Why it matters

Older fittings cost more to run and more to keep serviced: lamps fail more often, and some fittings are no longer made. A retrofit swaps existing fittings for LED equivalents, cutting the hours a building runs on old technology and the call-outs that come with it.

ILUX prices a retrofit either as like-for-like replacement or as a redesign where the layout is due an update anyway, and runs it out of hours where trading or working hours matter.

What's included

• Site survey of existing fittings, circuits and controls before any pricing
• Like-for-like replacement into existing containment, or a redesigned layout where needed
• Fitting selection matched to the space: colour temperature, output and finish
• Work scheduled out of hours or overnight where the site trades or operates during the day
• Old fittings and lamps removed and disposed of responsibly
• Sign-off pack confirming what was installed, by location, for the asset register

We don't quote invented savings figures up front — the survey gives you the actual load reduction for your fittings before you commit.

Rolling a retrofit across multiple sites

For an estate of similar sites, one specification is proven at the first location and then repeated, so pricing, lead times and the install method are known before the second site is booked.
