Security & access faults
Intruder alarm, access control, door entry and CCTV faults attended against a response time, with the site secured before we leave.

Typical faults we attend
- Intruder alarm faults or false activations
- Access control readers or doors not releasing
- Door entry systems with no audio or video
- CCTV cameras or recorders offline
- Signalling faults to a monitoring centre
- Sites left unable to set or unset the alarm
How a call-out runs
You log the fault with the site and what's affected, we assign a priority based on the security exposure it creates, and an engineer is dispatched against the response time in your contract. A site that can't set its alarm or lock its doors is treated as urgent. Every visit is closed out with a completion report in your client portal. See response times & coverage for how priorities are set.
Most alarm faults show up on a scheduled service.
Planned servicing checks batteries, signalling and detector performance before they fail on a live activation.
For door entry system faults specifically, planned servicing is also available — see door entry systems.
Common questions.
What if a site can't be secured overnight?
That's treated as our highest priority. Tell us this when you log the call and we'll confirm the response time and any interim steps for the site.
Can you liaise with our monitoring centre?
Yes. If the fault involves signalling, the engineer will work directly with the monitoring centre to restore the connection and confirm it before leaving site.
Do you cover CCTV as well as alarms?
Yes, camera and recorder faults are logged and attended the same way as alarm and access faults, under the same priority system.
