System installation & support

Getting a phone system in and working, numbers ported without a break in service, staff shown how to use it, and support after go-live.

Why it matters

A phone system rollout usually fails on the details: a number that doesn't port on the day it's supposed to, handsets left configured wrong, or staff who were never shown how to transfer a call. None of that is about the system itself, it's about how the install is run.

ILUX plans the cutover, ports the numbers, and stays on the contract for support once the system is live, rather than handing over and moving on.

What's included

  • Site survey and install plan, sequenced across multiple sites where relevant
  • Number porting managed end to end, timed to avoid a break in service
  • Handset and softphone configuration, call routing and hunt groups set up per site
  • On-site or remote training for staff before go-live
  • Cutover support on the day, with a fallback plan if anything needs unpicking
  • Ongoing support after go-live through the same helpdesk as the rest of your telecoms

Where a site is already running a hosted phone system, this covers adding new sites or extensions to the same platform rather than starting again.

Phone systems

Installation is only useful if the system underneath is right.

Support after go-live

Once a system is live it sits on the same contract and helpdesk as the rest of your telecoms, so a fault, a change to call routing or a new starter's extension goes through one route rather than back to whoever did the original install.

Common questions.

Will we lose our existing numbers?

No. Porting is planned so the old number keeps ringing until the new system is live, with no gap in between.

How long does a rollout take across multiple sites?

It depends on site count and how many numbers need porting. The install plan sequences sites so the business isn't disrupted, and gives you dates up front.

What support is there once it's live?

Faults, changes and new starters go through the same helpdesk as the rest of your telecoms contract, not a separate installer.

A cutover with no surprises.

Tell us your sites and current numbers and we'll plan the rollout.
